Internet explorer is not that bad

I used to check my email around ten times a day ,i was bored of clicking inbox , compose, signout .. I wanted to do all things just by pressing a key ,so i thought i should have keyboard shortcuts for all . And internet explorer has a good feature .
Just go to the icon of which you want to create a shortcut say "inbox" what you have to do is to just right click the icon and add it to favourites ,after adding to the favorites go to the "Favorites" and click "manage favourites" not right click your link and go to "properties" there will be a option "keyboard shortcuts" in which "none" will be printed just press Ctrl key and you will see "Ctrl + Alt" you can add alphabet to it say Ctrl+Alt+I for inbox or you can use "Ctrl+Shift+ Alphabet" or any combination of it .
